Organic olive growing is covered by the regulation (CE) 834/2997, where the techniques of obtaining olives are carried out avoiding the degradation of the ecosystem and favoring biodiversity and ecological balance.

 

 

Olive oil is obtained by first cold extraction, with a very low acidity, which is usually below 0.2%. Its flavor maintains a good intensity of bitter and spicy. Therefore, it is ideal for both cooking and using raw: toast, salads, pasta, rice, fried, stews, etc.

 

It must be understood that the quality of organic extra virgin olive oil begins in the field and ends in packaging. Any agent that produces an alteration of the natural components of the olive leads to an irreversible loss in the quality of the oil obtained.

 

As always in our mill, we ensure the highest quality, thus achieving a final product of excellent quality. Thanks to our nitrogen packaging, all the healthy components of EVOO are kept in perfect condition for longer.

 

That’s why when we talk about a 100% organic oil, what we do is that it is more beneficial for health and at the same time, much more respectful with the environment.

 

In the same way, the fact of being free of pesticides or other chemical products, we are sure to be able to get rid of these toxic agents, which can be harmful to our body.

 

For this reason the consumption of organic products has increased significantly in recent years, as shown by numerous official studies of MAPAMA (Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment).
